Eleanor Tyson ’23 is a public policy and political science double major and an environmental justice minor from Winston Salem, North Carolina. She focused on Environment and Human Welfare in the MPP program. Her professional interests include environmental social governance (ESG), government relations, and the intersection of environmental health and the design of health systems.

Eleanor was a Hayden B. Renwick Scholar at UNC. Eleanor also studied abroad with Honors Carolina studying the Design of Healthcare Systems in Edinburgh. Eleanor’s hobbies include reading, indoor gardening, cooking, and skiing.
