UNC Public Policy is a member of the Association for Public Policy Analysis and Management (APPAM) and Network of Schools of Public Policy, Affairs, and Administration (NASPAA).

APPAM is dedicated to improving public policy and management by fostering excellence in research, analysis, and education. UNC-CH hosted an Institutional Member Forum on Cross-Sector Collaboration in May 2022.

NASPAA is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) membership association with over 300 institutional member schools at U.S. and non-U.S. universities that award degrees in public administration, public policy, public affairs, nonprofit and related fields.

PublicServiceCareers.org is a widely used website for finding jobs, career advice, and information on degrees in public service and public affairs. It is sponsored by three organizations in professional public service and education: NASPAA, APPAM and ASPA.
