Eleanor Tyson ’23 is a public policy and political science double major and an environmental justice minor from Winston Salem, North Carolina. She plans on pursuing Track A in the MPP program with a focus on Environment and Human Welfare. Her professional interests include environmental social governance (ESG), government relations, and the intersection of environmental health and the design of health systems.

In addition to being a 2024 candidate for the MPP program, Eleanor has also been a Hayden B. Renwick Scholar at UNC. Eleanor has also studied abroad with Honors Carolina studying the Design of Healthcare Systems in Edinburgh. Eleanor’s hobbies include reading, indoor gardening, cooking, and skiing.
