J.J. Tolentino

J.J. Tolentino is a graduate MPP student from Chapel Hill, NC. As an undergraduate student at UNC, he double majored in Public Policy and Political Science with a minor in Social and Economic Justice. J.J.’s interests are in science and technology policy and the development of human-centered approaches to ensure the benefits of new and emerging technologies are more equitably distributed to marginalized communities.

Prior to beginning the MPP, J.J. served on Capitol Hill as a Legislative Intern, and was a Political Intern for GMMB assisting in the development and communication of progressive policy. J.J. was also a member of Pi Sigma Alpha, the national political science honors society.”
