Originally from Fairfax, Virginia, Reagan Smith came to UNC as an undergraduate to earn her Bachelor’s in Public Policy and English. Prior to joining the inaugural cohort of the MPP program, she further developed her interest in public service through internships with the US Senate Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation; the Association of American Railroads; the White House Office of Intergovernmental Affairs; and the US Surface Transportation Board. Reagan’s policy interests include transportation, intergovernmental affairs, the relationship between business and public policy, and evidence-based policy analysis.
