Ivey Parks

Ivey Parks is a Master of Public Policy student pursuing Track B*. She spent her summer doing research on adverse childhood experiences with Dr. Gitterman and continued the quantitative analysis throughout her fall semester. Her research has sparked an interest in health policy and healthcare systems, both in the US and nationally. She is also interested in economic policy as a result of her undergraduate studies. Prior to the MPP program, Ivey attended UNC for an undergraduate degree with a double major in Economics and Public Policy. Her policy interests lie in creating a more equitable and accessible healthcare system focused on preventative care and sustainable program creation and its intersection with taxation.
