A local to Asheville, North Carolina, Sam is a 2022 graduate from UNC-Chapel Hill, receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in both public policy and economics. He was part of the inaugural class of the UNC Economics DATA Science Credential where he gained experience collecting, analyzing, and communicating the story behind large and complex datasets. He has a Master of Public Policy with a concentration in Social Policy and Social Entrepreneurship on the Impact Evaluation track and will utilize his skills in data science and policy analysis with a career in economic development or public sector consulting.
