Bennett Bunten

Bennett Bunten is a Master of Public Policy student in the 2024 cohort. She is pursuing Track B with a concentration in Global Cooperation and Conflict. Her MPP summer internship was spent in DC working in the office of Congresswoman Deborah Ross where she was able to dive into the legislative policymaking process. This work was sponsored by the Thomas W. Ross Fellowship. Bennett is also a Dr. and Mrs. Thomas S. Royster Distinguished Scholar, which has matriculated to her graduate education from her undergraduate degree.

Prior to the MPP, Bennett attended UNC for her undergraduate degree and majored in Public Policy and Religious Studies with a minor in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics. During this time, she studied abroad with Honors Carolina in London where she was able to intern in the UK Parliament. She also spent the summer of 2022 on an independent research project in Grenoble, France under the Blake Michael Global Grant.”
