U.S. Health Policy Class “People’s Choice” Podcast Winner Announced
December 2, 2021
For the Public Policy Department’s U.S. Health Policy class podcast project (based on this template), student teams researched policies relevant to contemporary health and health care issues in the United States. They developed collective expertise on the ways that a specific policy in the United States affects health and/or health care outcomes among the nation’s population. Together, they collaborated to contextualize the policy issue for their audience, describe the elements of health, health care, and inequality affected by the policy, and tell a memorable, accessible story.
After seven teams presented their final podcasts, everyone cast their vote for the “People’s Choice Award.”
Congratulations to Callan Hazeldine, Zainab Maniya, Lily Lehman, and Tejaswi Siripurapu for their award-winning podcast on the Affordable Care Act’s Medicaid Expansion!
