PhD Student Featured in Chapel Hill Magazine

Ada Umenwaliri, Public Policy PhD student and Associate Director of UNC’s African Studies Center, was featured in the September Issue of Chapel Hill Magazine. The article, “From Nigeria with Love,” explores Ada’s tireless efforts to incorporate African heritage and culture into the lives of her and her daughters in Chapel Hill. Her entrepreneurial spirit led her to also share this culture with the community.
