Alexis Zucker

Alexis Zucker is a graduate student in the UNC Master of Public Policy program with a concentration in International Development Policy. With an undergraduate major in Global Studies (International Economics, Trade, and Development specializing in Latin America) and a minor in Spanish for the Business Professions, she brings a unique and well-rounded perspective to the cohort.

Alexis is passionate about the role education policy plays in human capital and international economic development. Prior to the MPP, she designed and taught Spanish curriculum at local elementary schools, coordinated students’ bilingual education during the COVID pandemic, and coached qualifying Upward Bound scholars into viable higher education paths.
