Zoe Turner

Zoe is a 2025 Master of Public Policy Candidate from Frederick, Maryland. She completed her undergraduate career at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in May of 2024 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Public Policy, along with a minor in data science. Zoe also served two years as an undergraduate research assistant with the UNC Sociology Department studying the impact of Black Lives Matter protests on police reform. In her time with the MPP, Zoe intends to complete Track B: Policy Design & Impact/Impact Evaluation, with a concentration field area of Social Policy and Inequality/Social Entrepreneurship.
Zoe is most interested in policy issues of social justice and welfare, education, and criminal justice reform. In the summer of 2024, Zoe will work as the Dallas Martin Endowment Policy Intern for the National Association of Student Financial Administrators (NASFAA). In her future work, Zoe hopes to combine her data science and research skills with her passion for public policy to make change for marginalized populations.
