Paul Sirma holds a B.A. in Mathematical Economics from Colgate University. Before joining the Public Policy Ph.D. program at UNC, Paul worked for three years as a Research Assistant at the American Institutes for Research, AIR, in Washington, D.C. While at AIR, Paul collaborated with researchers in measuring the effectiveness of development programs in sub-Saharan Africa, South Asia and Latin-America. Paul is interested in applying microeconomics to study international development topics.
