Jackie Ruiz, a Raleigh native, is a recent graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a degree in public policy and social and economic justice. Her passion for environmental and social issues led her to continue her education by pursuing a master’s degree in public policy at UNC. Throughout her program, Jackie aims to explore more areas of public policy while furthering her research on the impact of climate change on marginalized communities. She hopes to use her education and work experience to work in the public sector after graduation.
