Alaina Plauche

Alaina Plauche earned her B.A. in Public Policy with a minor in City & Regional Planning at UNC and her Master’s through UNC’s inaugural MPP program. She has a keen interest in social advocacy, specifically in the intersections between environmental, urban housing and development, and food policy. Alaina is dedicated to a life of service in the public sphere with work experience at local and international non-profits as well as for the U.S. House of Representatives. At UNC, Alaina found a community in the Campus Y and at the Meantime Coffee Co., a non-profit, student-run coffee shop for which she was President of the Board of Directors. Alaina was also a Board member for Orange County Living Wage.
