Katherine Nikolich
Katherine Nikolich was born outside of Philidelphia, Pennsylvania but has been in North Carolina since 2012. She completed her undergraduate studies at UNC-Chapel Hill with a Public Policy major and minor in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics. Her interests lie in the intersection of Public Policy and Public Health, specifically around Harm Reduction approaches and global menstrual equity and sanitation access for women. She has previously completed a legislative internship with the North Carolina House of Representatives, an internship with North Carolina Stop Human Trafficking as their Legislative/Policy Intern, and a senior capstone project with Women NC researching policy approaches to addressing the inequitable rates of Black Maternal Mortality in North Carolina.
