Originally from Malawi, Juba holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences, Economics, from the University of Malawi and a Master’s in Regional Development Economics from Ege University, Turkey.

Prior to enrolling in our Ph.D program, Juba worked as Research Fellow at the Centre for Social Research of the University of Malawi responsible for questionnaire design, primary data collection, team supervision, data quality checks, quantitative analysis, report writing and dissemination of results.

Juba’s primary research interests are in health services research, evaluating health systems to determine how resources can give the greatest benefit to health care to improve behavior essential to controlling disease, poverty and sustainable livelihoods and social protection.
