Megan Forrestal is a Master of Public Policy candidate in the 2025 cohort. She is pursuing Track B with a concentration in Environmental Justice and Global Cooperation, exploring issues that merge environmental sustainability, human well-being, and developmental policies.

Before pursuing her MPP, Megan attended UNC for her undergraduate degree and double majored in Public Policy and Peace, War, and Defense, with a concentration in International Security and Intelligence. During this time, she participated in the Honors Carolina Seminar on Public Policy and Global Affairs in Washington, D.C. where we completed an internship with Fair Chance. In addition, Megan co-founded the Women in Public Policy club on campus, fostering a supportive community for students to learn and socialize.
