Anna’s research interests include the processes and ethics of how public benefits and cash transfers in the U.S. are justified, administered, changed, and studied. Prior to joining UNC Public Policy as a PhD student, Anna worked on health and human services policy and the COVID-19 response for economically vulnerable populations at the City of Philadelphia, where she also completed a year of national service as an AmeriCorps VISTA. Anna has a JD from the University of Pennsylvania and a BS in Astrophysics from Villanova University.
