Originally from Charlottesville, VA, Anna attended Furman University in Greenville, SC where she graduated with a B.A. in Political Science. During her time at Furman, Anna worked as a student manager at the Trone Student Center and served on Furman’s Sexual Harassment and Rape Prevention Committee. These experiences helped her realize her passion for working in higher education and led her to William & Mary for graduate school. While pursuing her degree in Higher Education Administration, Anna worked in William & Mary’s Dean of Students Office and in the Sadler Center & Campus Center. She also volunteered her time as a graduate intern at The Haven, a campus resource for students impacted by sexual violence. Anna graduated with her M.Ed. this May and is looking forward to bringing her experience in advising students and building community to her work with the students, faculty, and staff at UNC Public Policy.
